Know All About Ear Piercings
There are several speculations attached with piercings in general for e.g.
THE TRADITIONAL HAND AND WIRE PIERCING STYLE
This ear piercing is done with a sharp thin wire where the person who pierces your ear, sterilizes one sharp corner of the wire or earring and punches through your lobe with a quick hand gesture. It stings for a second and then hurts only slightly afterwards. This method is quick but you have to make sure that the piercing parlour and the artist takes extra care with the hygiene.
THE GUN SHOT PIERCING
This ear piercing is executed using a piercing gun. It is a more precise method as compared to the hand piercing. The artist first marks the point on your ear, which you want to get pierced with a felt tip pen. They then shoot either a stainless steel stud in that direction. This action is swift and much more hygienic as compared to the one we discussed earlier as no human hand contact is required on your skin.
This is the most popular form of piercing. Here the outer rim of the ear is punctured. The stud goes through the cartilage. It is the safest place to pierce after ear lobs.
This is a fairly unique way of piercing. This piercing makes two wholes in your ear depending on the location you choose. This type of piercing stud has no loose ends remaining as it is not in the shape of a pin and therefore there usually is no danger of stretching or tearing.
This is by far the most painful form of piercing. But the wearers deem it worth the pain as it makes a statement like no other piercing.

Although it is a safe form of piercing, bear in mind that it can be irritating at times. While you’re healing after the piercing be aware of not using earphones, ear plugs or headphones.
This piercing is done in the inner cartilage. The cartilage is punctured to get through a thin wire. Small curved needles are used so that they dont damage the area around the piercing. This piercing is less painful than you expect.
